September 4, 2008 - Boy Scout Registration night from 6:30-7:30 pm at the Hoopeston Methodist Church
September 7, 2008 - Hiking at Kennekuk Park near Danville. Meet at Kennekuk at 9:00 am, bring sack lunch plus compass, knife and water bottle.
September 27, 2008 - Popcorn sales begin - Town-wide sale starting at 9:00 am.
September 28, 2008 - Boy Scout Meeting - 2:00 pm at the Hoopeston Methodist Church. We will prepare for camp out at Kickapoo.
Oct. 4th - 5th, 2008 - Boy Scouts camping at Kickapoo State Park starting at 4:00 pm Saturday and going until Sunday at 10:00 am. Meet at the Office at the entrance. Bring tent, sleeping bag, extra blanket, pillow, clothes to sleep in, any extra snacks, trash bag, flashlight, knife, one set of extra clothes, good walking shoes, compass, Boy Scout manual. Go to page 224-225 for all items that you think you might need for the campout. We are planning on doing some cooking, Dawn Pajor is in charge of bringing the food supplies and Trevor Hurt is in charge of the cleaning equipment.

Oct. 25, 2008 - Last week to turn in your weekly popcorn sales to win a $20 Pamida Gift Card - pleas call or email Mike Webb by 10:00 pm Sat. Oct. 25th.
Oct. 26, 2008 - All popcorn order forms and money need to be turned in on this date. We will be at the Methodist Church at 1:30 pm to take all the order forms and money. Please pick out your prizes and bring that information also. If you can't make it on this date, please contact Mike Webb and set up an earlier date to get your order form and money handed in. We also need all show-n-sell turned back in as well, on this date.
